During your 3-year training as a hotel specialist, you can simultaneously complete the additional qualification in hotel management. This forms the foundation for your further career already during your training.

your job title will be: Hotel specialist with additional qualification in hotel management
you will not have German, social studies and religion classes during the block instruction, but you will have the additional subjects such as EDP, legal studies, subject-related foreign language instruction and further job-specific contents such as merchandise knowledge
you have an additional final examination at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce
Training content:
Your training as a hotel specialist with the additional qualification hotel management consists of the parts hotel specialist and additional qualification.
Both in the hotel and in the school you will receive additional knowledge.
1st hotel subject:
Insight into every department of our hotel
Reception and advice from the guests at the hotel reception desk
Taking care of the guests during their stay
Insight into the service area - advising and serving guests in the restaurant, at the bar and at events
Preparing offers and invoices
Preparing and checking hotel rooms
2. additional qualification:
Practical tasks with computer application
Drafting business letters and menus in English
Conducting business transactions in another foreign language (which you will learn at vocational school)
Practice-oriented tasks from management in the hospitality industry
Duration of training:
3 years with block instruction in Bad Überkingen
Prerequisite:
Vocational baccalaureate or high school diploma
