Our ecological concept
The best comfort a hotel can offer, while keeping energy consumption low!
Our hotel’s energy use is about 50% less than required by the latest Thermal Insulation Act.
We achieve this by using geothermal energy for both heating and cooling, solar energy for heating water and photovoltaic panels for electrical needs, together with better insulation on our exterior walls and triple-paned windows.
We especially make an effort to use natural materials where possible.
We are a step ahead when it comes to fresh ideas for protecting the environment.
That’s why we’ve been twice distinguished with awards! Our multi-faceted and ecological concept won us the 2011 TOP Hotel Opening Award in the Business category and we are a “Certified Green Hotel” since March 2012.
